I was supposed to post an entry last night when I arrived from school. But unfortunately, my little sister was using the PC and using the internet and I’m really exhausted. Yesterday was a tiring day. We performed dissection to frogs and examined its respiratory organs. The frog we bought was really big (bigger than those frogs of the other groups) and I was saddened on how it was being cut and examined. Its eyes were like it was going to cry and pleading to just let him/her away. Ok, I’ll try to type here how the frog was “tortured”. The first thing we had to do was to insert a probe into its nape and push the probe inside its spinal cord so the nerve impulses won’t be transmitted to its brain and just squiggled the probe inside up and down. In other words, we made, no THEY made the frog “brain dead”. Tsk tsk. By the way, if you are reading this part and eating and a bit sensitive on yucky things, better stop or skip this. The froggy was strangling and it was bleeding really hard. White things started to appear on its skin (a defensive mechanism). While our professor was torturing the froggy, my group mates were holding the frog tightly. I was like going frantic and walking away coz I really pitied the froggy. Then they pinned the froggy, belly facing up, into the dissecting pan. Our professor next cut the belly of the frog up into its chin area then through the muscles, exposing the internal organs. It was colorful: yellow, blue, red, gray, purple. I could see its heart pumping (yes, it is still alive). Prof located the tongue and cut its throat down near the stomach. To keep the frog “alive”, they poured Ringer’s solution into its internal organs. At first, I knew, after the activity, we would stitch the frog (stuffed toy?!) to make it active again, just like after an operation. But then, after the cutting here and there, Pota! Mabubuhay pa ba yan sa lagay na yan?! Shit! Can that frog still live after that?! Everyone was laughing and our professor said that it will. So I was calmed a bit. But then I realized, it will live just enough for you to finish the activity. Meaning, its life would be until we finish activity, then it will die then. I got a bit mad then. I believe in karma. And that poor frog was a victim for the sake of anatomy. And I can’t blame them. I guess I’ll have to bear these things forever. With this course I’m taking, frogs are just starters. So after the activity, I placed the frog in this plastic bag, and dumped it in the waste can. Now, IM bad.

Im getting bored of my old mp3s. KaZaA isn’t working with my PC before. Im now downloading it again. Since it’s a new version, maybe it was a bug and its fixed. I’ll remain hopeful.

This day is great. And its Valentines Day. No dates. No spending. No worries.

For the great part, I have received my grades for the mid-term. 90 and 92 for Anatomy and FCL respectively. 1 point up from my 89 in Anatomy and a boost in my grade in FCL. I know my grade in FCL would go that HIGH up coz im attending my classes now (coz I skip FCL classes last prelims, hehe) and participating well in class discussions. And for my Anatomy class, wasnt expecting it would go up since my performance in both lecture and laboratory wasnt like that before. But Im really glad of the grades. Oooohh, Im gonna tell mom. Grins.

Another great thing was my project in Anatomy (I love Anatomy :D) was that my project was chosen and given a 100% rating! And I got a prize for that. It is special and just what I needed. But Im not telling it here. /gg Thank you Dr. Celestino!

We had a short discussion and exam (discussion and exam at the same day, :\) about the Respiratory and Urinary System. And of course, alot of memorizations to be done in a short time. That is a good exercise for my head since im not using it much. lol. And I think I did good answering all the questions.

It is a fun day. Just great.

First things first. A new layout. Haha. Pink. My first time to have a pink layout. Friendster has a new color scheme and its pink too. I got the idea from there. Though its a bit bright for me ( hopefully not to yours ), it goes well with the images plus the fact that valentine's day is on Monday. Again, characters from Ragnarok Online.

We are on finals now. Two weeks before the final exams and we just had our mid-terms last weeks. Fast no? Every lesson goes fast. A lesson per day. That will be a body system for a day. No, make it 2 days. Yeah. Only 2 freaking days for us to take a chapter. And that includes an exam in lecture and laboratory. Evil teachers and staff. Humph. Im just glad that my first year for taking nursing would be over and Ill be at my second year. Yay.

And oh, I got a new version of Ragnarok Offline!! And the updated one!! Got the newest 2-1 Advanced Jobs!! And I can update it from the servers in Korea!! Special thanks to Mr. Alfo. The best!! For providing me with the copy of his RO.

Im currently browsing the bulletin board in Friendster. 20 pages of PURE FLOOD!! What the fuck??!! Why do they have to do that?! I mean cmon, I know its important and you can repost, but please not that much. Its hard to look for MORE IMPORTANT POSTS with all those flood messages. Now the tendency is to skip some pages because its CRAP. And there is a chance to miss messages from other people. You guys are old enough and Im sure you know what is right.

I cant continue this. Am totally pissed.
